A man prayed, and at first he thought that prayer was
talking. But he became more and more quiet until in the end he
realized that prayer is listening. - Søren Kierkegaard Christian Discourses
Less of me, More of You...

For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?
Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet
only your brothers and sisters, what more are you doing than
others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
- Matthew

Strange, this love announced by our Lord turns all of life
right. To love others is to fill our own empty
spaces. - Thomas A.

| Isaiah 40 6 A voice says, "Cry out." And I said, "What shall I cry?" "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field. 7 The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them. Surely the people are grass. 8 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God stands forever." 26 Lift your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
| John 11The Death of Lazarus 32When
Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his
feet and said, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have
died." 33When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34"Where have you laid him?" he asked. "Come and see, Lord," they replied. 35Jesus wept. Jesus Raises Lazarus From the Dead 38Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39"Take away the stone," he said.
41So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42I
knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the
people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me." 43When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" 44The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."
